Many people scoff at the idea of consuming veggies because this can turn into a bit of a chore. After all, veggies are voluminous and highly satiating.
But that’s no reason to give up on them.

Veggies are incredible healthy and, with a bit of creativity, can be made into very tasty snack.
Today, we’ll take a look at the importance of drinking your veggies.
It’s Incredibly Convenient
Green powders of all sorts have become quite popular in recent times, but we can easily get our daily dose of vitamins, minerals, and fiber with a single cup of veggie juice.
You can fit quite a few servings of various vegetables, blend them up and serve them in a single cup. In fact, you can fit multiple servings of mixed veggies in a single cup. Talk about a nutritional bomb.
It’s Good For Your Heart Health
Most vegetables are excellent sources of potassium, a mineral that has been shown in the literature to help lower blood pressure. Veggies are also rich in iron and vitamin C, both of which promote circulation in the body that in turn allows for nutrients (such as collagen) to travel to all points of the body.
It Lowers The Risk of Disease
Regular veggie consumption has been shown to reduce the risk of developing many diseases including diabetes, heart disease, many cancers, and some autoimmune conditions.
You see, vegetables are rich sources of many antioxidants that help the body fight against free radicals.
It Helps You Stay Hydrated
A big percentage of veggies is water. Blending them up and drinking them not only provides you with plenty of nutrients but also keeps you well-hydrated.
It Promotes Better Nutrient Absorption
When eating veggies, your body needs time to break them down and absorb the nutrients it needs. In some cases, poor chewing habits or digestive issue can interfere with the full breakdown of these foods.
But when drinking fresh veggies, you bypass a big percentage of the digestive process and ensure that your body gets full access to all of the nutrients.
Three Veggie Recipes You Must Try
All you need for these tasty recipes is a blender. You can make these juices from veggies alone, but having a piece of fruit in there makes the recipe taste much richer and adds extra vitamins and minerals.
Recipe #1:
1. Add two cups of spinach, 2 cups of liquid (water and coconut milk work great), and blend in stages until all the chunks smooth out.
2. Add a cup of mango. You can go with frozen mango for a chilling effect.
3. Blend it again. 4. Enjoy!
Recipe #2:
1. Add ½ cup spinach, ¼ avocado, ½ frozen banana, 1 tsp chia seeds, and a cup of almond milk in a blender.
2. Blend in stages until perfectly smooth.
3. Enjoy! Recipe #3:
1. Add a tightly-packed cup of kale, a cup of almond milk (or water), a cup of blueberries and half a banana in the blender.
2. Blend it until everything is silky smooth.
3. Enjoy!
